The Apollo Cinema in Carmarthen opened its doors in Spring 2010 as part of the St Catherine's Walk Shopping Centre. The 6 screen Cinema is not only the newest cinema in Carmarthenshire but one of the most advanced cinemas in the whole of Europe.
All six screens in the Apollo Cinema Carmarthen are 3D enabled, are fully air conditioned and offer luxury stadium seating. Each screen is fitted with an induction loop for the hard of hearing. Other facilities include a fully licensed bar, a Costa Coffee. Free WiFi Internet Access is available in some areas of the foyer. The cinema has wheelchair accessibility to every screen, with each having 3 or 4 dedicated wheelchair spaces.
The six screens at the Carmarthen Cinema are also available for private hire which include corporate events, school events or private parties.
